The staff were just wonderful, especially Harry, Jack and Shane. I was treated with respect and the staff made time to talk to me and I couldnt fault the service. Overall, it was a very rewarding experience.

Dinner is best thing about this hotel, that said there is lots to recommend hotel too. Dinner in restaurant had very good starters and wonderful main. Service from some staff very engaging, others very quiet. This is an old brick hotel half way through a facelift: my room had lovely wooden furniture, but the walls probably haven't been painted in a few decades; modern looking bathroom on first inspection, but look in the corners and notice the age.

The locality of The Buckingham was what suited us best - train station nearby, superb shopping centre in the other direction and within easy travel distance to family. Our room was very comfortable with a huge bed and good bathroom facilities. The usual coffee and tea etc plus biscuits.

Room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was so clean and very refreshing. The breakfast was tasty and great value. All staff from the receptionist to the cleaning staff were so lovely and friendly.

Had the King spa room which is very large and nice and quiet upstairs. Good air conditioning. Even though the room faces the highway, windows are double glazed so hardly any traffic noise. Good spa bath.

I like feeling welcomed when I stay in accommodation. We had to relocate here after a bad experience at an Airbnb property. Never again will I stay in someone's 'garage' where the toilet is INSIDE the shower cubical. Thank you to Best Western Buckingham for keeping it real.

Very attentive staff when I needed anything, they were happy to assist from the reception staff, dining staff and the domestic staff. Room was perfectly comfortable and quiet. I was also so relieved when the young man at reception managed to get me a taxicab within 5 minutes to get us to the Moorabbin airport, very much appreciated his no fuss approach when I was so stressed at not being able to get a taxi. So thank you so much people we’ll be more than happy to use your excellent accommodation again.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. We were very surprised we couldn't hear the traffic... at all!! The toiletries are far in excess of what one would expect from a Motel. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.
